The iPhone, Mac, and web versions of CapCut don't share one project list. To work on the same project on another device, upload it to CapCut Cloud space and open it from there, using the same account on each device.
Upload the project to CapCut Cloud space
Each device keeps its own project list, so a project you made on your iPhone won't appear on your Mac by itself. Cloud space is how you move it between them.
- Sign in to CapCut with the same account on the device that has the project.
- Open the project you want to move.
- Upload the project to your CapCut Cloud space.
- Wait for the upload to finish before you close the app.
- On your other device, sign in with the same account and open the project from your cloud space.
Cloud space is online storage, so it has a limit. Check how much room you have before you upload a large project.
If cloud space isn't an option: AirDrop the video to your Mac
If you can't use cloud space, you can send the video file from your iPhone to your Mac with AirDrop. It works, but it's a hassle. AirDrop moves the video file, not the editing project, so you start again from the file on the Mac.
- On your iPhone, open the video in Photos.
- Tap the Share button, then choose AirDrop.
- Pick your Mac from the list and accept the file on the Mac.
- Import the video into the CapCut Mac app to keep editing it.
